# A report built by a coding agent

DRE is plain YAML and SQL files, and every command except dre init runs without prompts, so coding agents can drive it. DRE’s agent skills turn Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI or any agent that reads Agent Skills into a guide: it installs DRE, asks one question at a time with a recommendation, writes the report, and confirms before anything is delivered.

terminal

```bash
# Claude Code
claude plugin marketplace add get-dre/dre && claude plugin install dre@dre
# Other agents
npx skills add get-dre/dre#skills-latest
```

### What to notice

- Then ask your agent: “help me with dre”.
- The skills follow DRE’s documented practices and never ask for your passwords or tokens.
- Machine-readable output (--log-format json, dre validate --json, the manifest) lets tools check their own work.
